What this does

Guides merchants through creating a new catalog item, entering product details, setting price rules, and saving the item in the Admin Panel.

Before you begin

  • Prepare your product title, description summary, pricing details, category assignment, and product photos.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Products: Log in to your Admin Panel and select Products from the main sidebar.

2. Open Add Product Form: Click the Add Product button at the top right of the catalog table.

3. Enter General Details:

  • Title: Input your item name (e.g., “Luxe Cotton T-Shirt”).
  • Description: Enter detailed item features and specifications.
  • Category: Select the appropriate category from the dropdown menu.

4. Set Pricing & Stock:

  • Price: Input the selling price the customer pays (e.g. `$24.99`).
  • Compare-at Price: (Optional) Input the original crossed-out retail price (e.g. `$29.99`). *Rule: Selling Price must be less than or equal to Compare-at Price.*
  • Total Stock: Enter available inventory count.

5. Upload Product Images: Drag and drop your photos into the uploader slot.

6. Save Item: Click Save Product to add the item to your catalog.

What you should see

  • The newly created product item row listed in your catalog table.
