How to Manage Product Inventory

Guides merchants on keeping stock quantities synchronized in the Admin Panel to prevent overselling.

Before You Begin

  • Perform a physical count or verify warehouse stock counts for your products.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open Products List

Navigate to Products in the Admin Panel to view your catalog.

Step 2: Select Product to Update

Click on the product whose inventory count requires adjustment.

Step 3: Update Stock Units

Enter the current available stock quantity in the Stock or Quantity field. (Please note that total stock is managed by variant selections.)

Step 4: Save Inventory Changes

Click Save Product to update the stock count across the platform.

  • Accurate available stock units reflected in your admin product table and on customer catalog views.

Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Common ProblemRecommended Solution
Item Sold Out PrematurelyVerify that the quantity field reflects total available units and was not accidentally saved as zero.
