How to Configure Your Store Information

Beyond legal business details, your store has its own configuration — store name, currency, and similar settings. Flag up front: exact location unconfirmed.

What store information typically includes

• Store name (as customers see it, which may differ from your legal business name)
• Default currency
• Support number, e-mail, store address
• Store visibility (public vs. password-protected — see Category 1, Article 16)

Needed: Store > Settings > General — the store name, currency, and time zone fields, to confirm exact layout and labels.

Get this right early

💡 Tip: Currency in particular is worth setting correctly before you add any products — changing it after you’ve priced a full catalog usually means revisiting every price.
