How to Manage Product SKUs

Explains the purpose of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and how to assign unique alphanumeric identifiers to items and variants.

Before You Begin

  • Establish a logical SKU format (e.g., BRAND-CATEGORY-STYLE-SIZE).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Product Editor

Navigate to Products in the Admin Panel and open the item you wish to assign a SKU.

Step 2: Locate the SKU Field

Find the SKU or Barcode input field in the inventory details section.

Step 3: Assign Unique Identifier

Enter your unique product SKU code without spaces or special characters.

Step 4: Save Listing

Click Save Product to store the SKU reference in your product database.

  • The assigned SKU visible in your admin product inventory table and printed on order packing receipts.
