How to Cancel an Order

Guides merchants through safely cancelling an order requested by a buyer or necessitated by inventory discrepancies.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm the package has not already been handed over to the courier partner.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Order to Cancel

In your Admin Panel, navigate to Orders and select the relevant order.

Step 2: Select Cancel Order

Locate the Cancel Order action within the order management options.

Step 3: Confirm Inventory Restock

Confirm whether the cancelled line items should be returned to available catalog inventory.

Step 4: Finalize Cancellation

Save changes to mark the order status as Cancelled.

What You Should See

  • The order status displaying Cancelled and inventory adjusted accordingly.

Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Problem: Order Already in Transit

Solution: If an order is already with the courier, contact the courier to request a package intercept or handle via return policy upon delivery.
