How Do I Configure Payments Before Launch?
Before your store can accept real orders, you need payments configured and verified.
What’s confirmed so far
Your dashboard has a Commerce > Sales section with dedicated Bank Transfer Queue and UPI Transfer Queue screens. These appear to be where you review and manage orders paid via bank transfer or UPI — in other words, where you confirm manual payments customers have made, not where you initially set up or connect a payment method.
What still needs confirming
- Where you initially connect or configure a payment method (likely under Store > Settings, but unconfirmed)
- Whether Shopiators supports automated payment gateways (card payments, popular wallets) in addition to manual bank transfer and UPI
- What verification (KYC) documents are required, and where you upload them
- How payouts to your bank account are scheduled

Once payments are connected
- Confirm which payment methods are active on your storefront (bank transfer, UPI, and/or card payments).
- Complete any required identity or business verification.
- Check your payout bank account details are correct.
- Place a small test order to confirm checkout works end-to-end (see How Do I Place a Test Order).
Why this can’t wait until launch day
💡 Tip: Payment verification is one of the two steps most likely to take longer than expected (see How Long Does It Take to Launch My Online Store) — it runs on your payment provider’s timeline, not yours. Start this as early as possible, even before your product catalog is finished.
