Understanding Your Shopiators Merchant Dashboard

Your Merchant Dashboard is mission control for your store. This article gives you a tour of every major section so you always know where to go, whether you’re adding a product or checking today’s sales.

The main navigation menu

  • Home — a snapshot of recent orders, sales, and tasks that need your attention
  • Dashboard — your store’s analytics and performance overview
  • Commerce > Sales — every order, refund, return, and cancellation, plus your Bank Transfer and UPI payment queues, discounts, customers, abandoned carts, and contact inquiries
  • Commerce > Products — your full catalog: products, categories, attribute sets, attributes, colors, and metafields
  • Commerce > Currency — the currency your store sells in
  • Commerce > Product Reviews — customer reviews left on your products
  • Marketing — your blog content (posts, categories, authors) and Facebook integration settings
  • Store > Store Management — Theme Customizer, Menu Management, and Preview Store
  • Store > Media Library — images and files uploaded across your store
  • Store > Settings — your account, business, and store-wide configuration

Home vs. Dashboard — they’re not the same screen

New merchants sometimes assume Home and Dashboard are the same thing since they sit right next to each other in the menu — they’re not. Home is your action center: total stores, active trial, referral credits, store visits. Dashboard is your analytics view: total orders, revenue, pending, cancelled. Check Home when you want to know what needs doing; check Dashboard when you want to know how the store is performing.

Finding your way around

  1. Use the left-hand navigation menu to move between the four section groups: Main, Commerce, Marketing, and Store.
  2. Commerce, Marketing, and parts of Store expand into a dropdown of sub-items when clicked — for example, Sales expands into All Orders, Refund Orders, Return Orders, Cancel Orders, and more.
  3. Your account menu sits at the bottom of the sidebar, showing your name and account details.
  4. Use Store > Store Management > Preview Store any time you want to see your live storefront without leaving the dashboard.

A tip for new users

💡 Tip: Don’t try to memorize every menu item on your first visit. Instead, get comfortable with Home, Commerce > Sales, and Commerce > Products first — these cover almost everything you’ll need in your first week.
