My Shopiators Store Is Live. What Should I Do Next?

Going public is a milestone, not a finish line. Here’s what to focus your attention on in the first days and weeks after launch.

Watch these dashboard areas closely

  • Commerce > Sales > All Orders — your actual sales, checked daily at first
  • Commerce > Sales > Abandoned Carts — customers who started checkout but didn’t finish; worth following up with
  • Commerce > Sales > Contact Inquiries — direct customer questions; respond quickly, especially in your first weeks
  • Commerce > Product Reviews — your first reviews matter disproportionately for building trust

Keep improving, don’t just maintain

  1. Add more products beyond your initial launch catalog (see Article 8 ” What Should I Prepare Before Adding Products” for prep).
  2. Refine your design in the Theme Customizer based on what you notice once real customers are using the store (Article 13 “How Do I Customize My Store Design“).
  3. Set up a discount or promotion via Commerce > Sales > Discounts to encourage first orders (see Article 18 “How Do I Get My First Online Order“).
  4. Start building content through Marketing > Blogs, if content marketing fits your brand.

Don’t panic if orders are slow at first

💡 Tip: A quiet first few days is normal, not a sign something’s broken — as long as your test order (Article 14 “How Do I Place a Test Order“) succeeded. Article 18 “How Do I Get My First Online Order“covers concrete ways to drive your first real order rather than just waiting for one.
