How Do I Customize My Store Design?

Your store’s initial design comes from Shopiators’ AI generation (see Article 1) based on your brand category, audience, and aesthetic. From there, you can refine it using the Theme Customizer, under Store > Store Management.

Where design tools live

  • Store > Store Management > Theme Customizer — edit your store’s visual design
  • Store > Store Management > Menu Management — edit your site’s navigation menus
  • Store > Store Management > Preview Store — see your live storefront without leaving the dashboard

A sensible approach to customizing

  1. Start by reviewing what the AI already generated — in Preview Store — before changing anything. Often less needs adjusting than expected.
  2. Make small, incremental adjustments in the Theme Customizer rather than trying to redesign everything at once.
  3. Check Preview Store after each significant change to confirm it looks right before moving to the next adjustment.
  4. Use Menu Management to make sure your navigation reflects your actual product categories.

Resist the urge to over-customize

💡 Tip: Shopiators‘ AI-generated design already reflects the aesthetic you specified during setup (Welcome to Shopiators: Start Here). Heavy manual rework tends to fight against that starting point rather than build on it. Small, targeted adjustments — not a full redo — usually produce a better result, and definitely a faster one (How Long Does It Take to Launch My Online Store).
